Welcome to the webpage dedicated to Renee Di Giulio-Naismith, a remarkable woman whose life story inspires and touches the hearts of many. Renee’s journey is one of resilience, compassion, and unwavering determination to make a difference in the lives of others, particularly children in need.

About Renee: Renee Di Giulio-Naismith was a beacon of light in her community and beyond. Her career as a travel agent spanned over 20 years, during which she not only excelled professionally but also found her true calling in philanthropy and humanitarian efforts. Renee’s love for travel brought her into the life of her fiancé, Ian Naismith, whose grandfather, Dr. James Naismith, invented the game of basketball.

Philanthropic Work: Renee’s deep-rooted passion for helping others led her to establish and lead the Naismith International Basketball Foundation (NIBF), where she served as President. Through NIBF, Renee focused on aiding children in the United States and the Caribbean, providing essential items, sponsoring educational programs, and organizing life skills youth camps. Her dedication earned her the title of the “Mother Teresa of the Caribbean.”

Courageous Battle Against Cancer: Renee faced and triumphed over cancer not once, but twice, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience. Her journey through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries serves as a testament to her unwavering spirit and determination to live life to the fullest. Despite her own battles, Renee remained a source of positivity and inspiration to those around her.
